KEYNOTE PRESENTATIONS & WORKSHOPS WILL PROVIDE PARTICIPANTS WITH LEARNING AND COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES
Use cases have been widely used in modern software engineering for over two decades and continue to be a popular means of capturing requirements. Use Case 2.0 was released in 2011 by Dr. Ivar Jacobson and his team and offers a slimmed down, leaner way of working, for software teams seeking the benefits of agile development.
The Use Case 2.0 User Conference will kick-off with a keynote from Dr. Ivar Jacobson followed by presentations from Burkhard Perkens-Golomb, IT Architect at Munich Re and Jordi Reineman, Manager, Analysis & Design at NS (Dutch Railways). Afternoon hands-on workshops will provide attendees with an opportunity to select an introductory level tract or advanced level tract. The day will conclude with a 'surgery & cocktail' where users will have an opportunity to ask their most challenging questions to use case experts in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Use_Case_Conference/ "Over the years we have learnt how to be truly successful with use-cases, and of course we have learnt something from other techniques, particularly how to apply use cases in an agile team," said Dr. Ivar Jacobson. "I'm looking forward to the opportunity to speak to Use Case users and listen to their success stories."
The User Conference is being hosted jointly by Ivar Jacobson International, DiVetro, Hood and KravXperts. The fee to attend the one day event is €590 with an early bird savings discount of €100 available until March 24, 2015.
